Appreciate your rug, brush it, beat it, clean it, stroke it. Why? because today is lumpy rug day!

There is a little discrepancy about what the day signifies. Some say it's a reminder for those who sweep things under the carpet not to do so, and others say you should just by a new rug. Personally i think the latter reason was designed by somebody in the retail industry, how else will they shift all those surplus rugs?!

- Buy a new rug
- Give an old unwanted rug a home
- recycle an old rug into a tunic or jumper and set a new fashion trend.
- sweep it under the carpet, quick no-one is looking.
